About The designer
Hey there, Gorgeous! I’m Daijah Janae, Founder and Principal Designer at Her Higher Standard Design Studio. With over a decade of experience in the film industry as an accomplished Producer at a bustling film studio where I quickly climbed the corporate ladder. Along the way, I wore many hats and gained a lot of valuable experience but, the biggest lesson I learned was that while the creative side of the job fueled me, the corporate politics drained me. Eventually, an unexpected layoff shifted my path—a moment that felt both jarring and liberating. The loss of stability was a shock, but it also felt like a weight had been lifted. I had long dreamt of building a business of my own, and the layoff became a blessing in disguise—a chance to create the life I had always envisioned.
Why this business? Because Her Higher Standard represents core pieces of me, my values and my long-held interests. From the marketing and web coding courses I took in college, to the women's empowerment organization I was the President of for two years, and even to the start up brands that I've had a hand in branding over the years. I've always held a deep appreciation for beautifully designed brands and websites, and now, I get to bring that passion to life through helping ambitious entrepreneurs, like yourself, create brands and websites that make a lasting impact.
On a personal note, I’m based in sunny Phoenix, where I’m a proud dog mom. I’m a lover of Caesar salads, champagne, and hot girl walks. My guilty pleasure splurges are new planners, handbags and skincare products, and you’ll often find me in a Pilates class or listening to a podcast.

Faines.
The Feminine Archetypes (The Lover, The Queen, The Sage, The Huntress, The Maiden, The Mother, and The Mystic) offer a unique lens into the complexities of womanhood, celebrating our diverse strengths, values, and aspirations. Unlike the traditional 12 Jungian archetypes, the feminine archetypes deeply resonate with my core values: empowerment, authenticity, and an unwavering appreciation of femininity in all its forms.

I’ve always been drawn to personality frameworks for the way they reveal deeper insights, but it wasn’t until I discovered the 7 Feminine Archetypes that I felt like I had truly found a concept that reflected the multidimensionality of being a woman. When I built Her Higher Standard, I realized my brand didn’t fit neatly into the traditional frameworks most designers use. As a service provider for ambitious women, it felt only natural to lean into a framework that celebrates the strength, power, and individuality of womanhood.
